Welcome to the tour of my new interior design studio/office!
In my previous career prior to starting my own firm, I was a designer for various scrapbook manufacturers as part of their design team. This required me to make samples for their advertising purposes in order to demonstrate their products. I never fully finished my complete vision for my βcraft/scrapbooking roomβ, but you can see that I used various furnishings that I already owned in order to make it work.
Fast forward to 2019 when I started Julie Ann Rachelle Interior Design, now known as Julie Ann Rachelle Interiors LLC in 2022. I needed a new office space that reflected my personal tastes and abilities.
Welcome to my Master Bedroom Makeover Part 4! It's a blue French Country Primary Bedroom reveal. The room makeover has been completed for many months. I only now have the photos to share with you, my friends, and my fans. It was a sorely needed refresh and one well-deserved. I believe everyone deserves to pay special attention to their master bedroom (or primary bedroom, to be politically correct). It is where we spend most of our time in the world.
I recently refreshed my home office and decided to would write about my experience. Previously, this room was my scrapbooking/craft office, as I was active in design teams in the scrapbooking industry in another lifetime.
After starting my home office refresh, I wanted to think about how to design a French Country Cottage/Shabby Chic look with a calming and inspiring atmosphere. This had to be accomplished on a budget, and so my husband began our thrifting adventures for office furnishings. All of this occurred in the midst of the pandemic in the fall of 2020.
